My New Identity

My name is Olivia. I am from Rapas city, Bolivia. My job is painter. I like wall paint than paper paint. Also, I like colorful paint. Because colorful paint makes us happy. My hobby is fishing. Especially, I like sea fishing. Sometimes, I get seasickness, but I get fun, so I can not sea fishing. Also, I dislike cats. Cat's eyes  are gleam ,and cats are claw.  It is scary and pain. 

Blog Week 2

Event 1 2( My Wednesday)

I have writing class and Christian religion class every Wednesday. Christian religion class was the first period class. The teacher is Chinese. He looks cute and kind. The class is interesting. After class, I went to Calligraphy class. I have been learning calligraphy since I was a 2nd year elementary school student. My childhood friend was learning calligraphy, so I started it too. I like written "Gyosyo". Gyosyo is difficult, but interesting. I always write Gyosho when I take an exam and exhabit a piece of writing. Every week, I write "Kaisyo" and "Gyosyo". I like Gyosyo rather than Kaisyo. Because in Kaisyo I cannot chose the Chinese character I want to write. However, Kaisyo is written first. That Wednesday, my childhood came to my class. She is busy working an office, so I met her after all this time. We were talking about recent events, and about calligraphy. I spent good time with her. I think I would like to teach the fun of calligraphy to foreigners, children and adalts. So, I would like to take a licence for teaching calligraphy.

 Event 3 (My Friday)

 I had international society and Japanese class and career design class. Today international society class is compulsory. The class teacher is Mr. Osawa. He is strict on punctuality, so I come to school earlier than usual. The class contents are difficult, but the teacher’s teaching is easy to understand. So, I think it was interesting. The next class was career design class. This class is for job hunting. The class teacher is Mr. Shimada. He works at career office in KGU from this year. So, he is a professional for job hunting. Also, he is a good speaker, I listened to his speech and I was impressed and surprised. I think I must learn more about business.

 Event 4 (Difficult Culture Communication Class)

I had a difficult culture communication class. The class teacher is Ms.Matsushima . She is cool and nice. The class contents are difficult and we get a lot of homework. However, it is interesting. For example, why do people stand faceing the door when they ride the elevator and why are Japanese people Japanese? I have never thought about it. The homework is report about “ Why are Japanese people Japanese? “ As I read the data many times, new ideas came to my head and I wrote them straight away. It was difficult, but interesting at the same time it has also increased my knowledge. So, I am looking forward to this class again.

Event 5 (Yoga)

I went to the international dorm on April 20^th, to practice yoga. I know someone practices yoga, but I have never done it before. At first, I watched them. Because, I wore  a skirt. However, I wanted to practice yoga, so I did it. It was very hard, but enjoyable. So, I would like to do it again or I would like to continue with it. 

Blog week1

Event 1(Started school life)
 School started on April eighth. I was excited for the new classes to begin. My writing class teacher is Christy. Christy corrected a mistake for me. So, I was happy. I think I want to study abroad in England. I must pass an exam. The exam are TOEFL and IELTS. TOEFL is listening and reading. I must get 450 points over. If I could get 450 points over, I took a IELTS. IELTS is well known in the world. Especially, it is in common take in England. IELTS is reading, listening, writing and speaking., it is difficult. So, I decided do my best. Then, I would like to receive good advice from Christy.


Event 2.3(My part-time job)
 I have a part-time job every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My part-time job is Glazie gardens. Glazie mean thanks. It is Italian. Glazie gardens is a restaurant where people can have pizza and pasta. Many people come, so I am very busy and tired. Especially, Many family come in Glazie gardens on Saturday and Sunday. However, my co-workers are very kind and friendly. If I made a mistake, they explained me how to solve the problem. I began part-time job on September, so I was the youngest. However, recently two girls began part-time job. They are high school students. Their names are Yuri and Sae. Yuri works in kitchen. Sae works in floor. I work same place with Sae, so I taught her many things. I noticed thing. To remember contents of Part-time job is difficult, but to teach contents of Part-time job is too difficult. So, I will work hard, and I would like to teach her more good things.


Events 4(Opening party)
 Opening Party hold in English lounge on April 10. I became English lounge staff, so I must go opening party. I like party because get along with exchange student, freshman and elder etc. We spent talking with friends and eat sandwiches and sweet. Then, We play gesture game and telephone game. I was not participate ,but I enjoyed. I looked fun everyone. After party finished, some people went to international dorm. Then, Oy, Billy, Nick, Chihiro,Nanako and I went to Chinese restaurant . It is taste good. And we watched action movies. However I don't like action movies, so I slept on the sofa. Some Japanese people went back to home at p.m. 11. The day is very tired , but very fun. Next party is welcome party in dorm. I am looking forward to meeting to new exchange student.


Events 5(An election)
 I has just turned twenty last week. So, I can go to election. Last Sunday, I went to election with my mother in Sanrigi center. In fact, I don't know election structure. So, I must learned about election. I think it is important reading news paper. I don't like news paper, but I decided do my best.

Host Family

Hello. My name is Saki. I am a freshman of KGU student. To help you know me, I will introduce myself. I belong to the department of English. I like English since I was elementary school student. But, I study English rather than what I really like, to communicate with foreigners.

 There are many exchange students in KGU. They are from America, England, Canada, Chinese, Korean, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand. They are friendly and kind, so it is easy to talk to them. I meet them in the English lounge. It is in there and anybody can talk with exchange students. I am usually visit there at lunch time. I learn and cheer up from talking to them. I like the English lounge in campus the best.

 Do you like international communication? I hope you like it! I would like to talk with you early. Also, I like travel and learn about world heritage. I thought that I wanted to go to abroad to see world heritage sites. But, I noticed that I have not seen the world heritage sites of Japan. So, I visited Kyoto alone last year. I visited some temples. It was so exciting and impressive. I felt Japanese myself, because, I could have relax when I have seen the temples.

 I visited the world heritage sites of Japan, so I want to go to abroad to see world heritage sites next. Especially, I want to go to Glacier National park. There is a lot of nature and beautiful lakes and mountains. I heard that I could camp there from an exchange student. I want to go camping with my host family. I have not camped, before I really looking forward to it. Also, I want to go to Gland Canyon. It is the most famous place world heritage site in America. I like taking pictures, so I want to do it. Alright then from my heart, I am looking forward to being able to meet you.
